Wow Matt... that was quick!
If you haven't yet, then I strongly urge you to get onto their stuff. The Damnwells, and particularly Alex Dezen's solo stuff is just... absolutely killer! Check out this video of him that I featured in a past post:

YAY another damnwells post! may I just note *at* world cafe live. I know it's a radio show too (which I'm guessing as to why you used "on", but then again, maybe it's a thing, like in line and on line *as in waiting..*), but this was recorded at the venue World Cafe Live in Philadelphia (thanks chris for letting me steal what you recorded for the doc!) when they went out w/ Blue Rodeo.

anyway, *hopefully* pretty soon, we can get a lil peak at some of the new songs on the band's myspace. it's about time for a lil "redecorating" over there ;)

Thanks for stopping by... always good to see someone who cares so much for the band around :)
That is my bad, regarding the "ON world cafe live"... I'm so used to posting live shows from the radio show, it just came out that way!

Hey, didn't you go see a show in the last few months? Not sure if it was an Alex solo show, or The Damnwells collective... but if you managed to get a recording of it, I know we're all dying for more updates :P

yes i went to a show back at the end of april. I video taped it, and ripped the music from the video, but haven't quite gotten as far as to upload it. first was that the battery died on the video camera, so I missed the last two songs, but I took them on my digital camera. But now I can't find those last two videos to rip the music. I think I'm just going to upload it w/o the last two songs, but I just haven't quite gotten to the upload part. I tried to upload another show recently and it just kept timing out. If I watch a movie on my computer sometime soon, maybe I'll see if it'll work while I'm watching...

ps: I'm also going to see them in NYC in a few weeks. Now that I won't get a recording of (as far as I know) but I will most likely have a few videos up on google afterwards :-D
